Our youngest granddaughter, Angie, is now a Paper Pumpkin subscriber! She and I had a great time Skyping and making our April Paper Pumpkin kits this past weekend. Angie and I have stamped together before; however, this was the first time that we’ve stamped together “virtually”. It was a blast! In fact, we are now planning on Skyping every month to put our Paper Pumpkin kits together and spend time catching-up. [The banner picture for this post is one that our daughter, Steph (Angie’s mom), took of Angie’s view of Skyping with me!]
Since we could truly see each other and share ideas, it was so easy to make sure we were both stamping the same images and using the same embellishments for each card. We shared ideas and some tips and tricks as we made the kit. Check out the pictures below.
Angie did an awesome job making her cards and gift box! You don’t have to know her to understand how much fun she had. Just look at the gorgeous smiles in the pictures below.
Skyping and making a Paper Pumpkin kit with family and friends feels as if you are truly sitting in the same room, gathered around a table, and just spending quality time together. Everyone has the same stamp set, ink, card stock, envelopes, embellishments, and adhesive to make the monthly project. Everyone gets to spend time catching-up while putting a fun Paper Pumpkin kit together.
If you haven’t seen the video for the April Paper Pumpkin kit, take a look below. You’ll get a great overview of the project. And, as usual, there are many alternative ideas that are being shared on-line.
If you’re not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber and would like to give it a try, now is the perfect time. If you sign-up by May 10, you’ll get your first two kits for 50% off the regular price. Now – How can you refuse that deal? Don’t wait, click on the banner below to subscribe.
Happy Paper Pumpkin Stamping!
