Quick Easel Card – Playing in the Rain

Easel cards are a great type of fun fold, and there are many ways to make an easel card.  If you would like a quick design for an easel card, check out the picture below!

I’m pretty sure that I saw you smile when you noticed the adorable bunny taking a walk across the bridge on the card!  That is definitely what this birthday card is intended to do – just make the recipient smile!

Typically, I’m not a cute critter stamper.  But, the critters in the Rain or Shine suite were just to adorable to pass on.  The suite is part of the almost-retired Mini Catalog.  I used a few products in the suite (stamp set, dies, and Designer Series Paper [DSP]) in this card.

The best way that I know how to show you the steps to make this card is to share a video.  Please click on the link below to see the step-by-step video from a recent Stamp Club meeting.

As I mentioned in the video, I want to reference back to a video that detailed how to make a bridge card with DSP.  Below is the bridge card that I shared for during the video for the quick easel card.  The Rain or Shine DSP works perfectly for this card!

Here is the link to the video for a bridge card made with the retired Hand Penned DSP.  Use the same measurements to create your own DSP bridge card!

If you would like to add any of the products that I used to make the Quick Easel Card, please check out the items that I have featured below.  Click on any picture, and you’ll go directly to my online store.

Inky hugs,
Laurie
