New In-Colors Slimline Card with a Twist!

Truth be told – I don’t always immediately love every one of the new In-Colors when they are introduced in the Annual Catalog.  But – Oh my goodness! – This year, I can truly say that I love them all.  Each color is pretty enough to stand on its own.  But, when you put them all together, the result is just stunning!

Take a look at the card below to see an example that uses all five of the new In-Colors – Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky, and Orchid Oasis!  Which one is your favorite?  Honestly, I’m having a really hard time deciding which one I like the best.

Slimline cards are super popular right now, and they are a lot of fun to make.  One of the best things about them is that there are quite a lot of sizes that you can choose from to make your slimline card.  I like to use one sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock to make my slimline card base and the focal point piece.  The beauty of this size of slimline card is that it fits perfectly into a regular legal size envelope.

The technique that I used to create my card is a Slimline Triple Die Cut Card with a Twist!  Yup, it’s quite a mouth full!  I have also shared a similar design for a regular A2 size card in a previous postPlease take some time to watch the video that is linked below.  You’ll learn how to make the slimline card and also hear some tips and tricks.

Below is another view of the card that really shows the dimensions.  I really hope you give this technique a try and share what you make.

The main products that I used to make the slimline card are shown below.  If you click on any picture, you’ll go directly to my online store.

Inky hugs,
