I hope each of you had a happy and safe New Year’s celebration. We enjoyed a delicious meal and great company with our neighbors. It is unbelievable to realize that 2018 has arrived.
Speaking of arrivals, yesterday we received unexpected news that an addition to our family arrived about a month early. Elise, a new great-niece to my husband and me, was born yesterday. From pictures we have seen on Facebook, she is absolutely beautiful and well loved by her entire family – especially by her 18-month old brother, Holden.
My mom is staying with us this week. She and I decided to make Elise a special card. We had a lot of fun designing the layout, trying different options, and finalizing the card. My mom was the ace die cutter and color consultant!
Be sure to look at the pictures below to get a full appreciation of the card. The front, inside, and back have different perspectives!
Below are the main products that we used to make the card. This design is one that you can easily use to modify for your own use. Confession – There are a few non-SU, and retired SU products that were used.
For your New Year’s resolutions, I hope you’ve included carving out time to spend stamping. I truly believe that stamping and other crafting are incredibly therapy!
Happy stamping,
Laurie
