As I mentioned in my last post, I am truly addicted to the beautiful, new Lovely Floral Dynamic EF from the brand new Stampin’ Up! annual catalog. In this post, I would like to share a few additional cards that I have made using this embossing folder.
For details on the steps to make these cards, please reference my last post. Change the colors of the card stock and stamped image focal point to make your own designs. In the cards pictured below, you’ll notice that I used a retired stamp set called Garden Collage for the images. The coloring of the stamped images was done with the gorgeous Watercolor Pencils.
Layering colors is the best way to achieve a multi-dimensional feel from the Watercolor Pencils. Put a layer of the lightest color on the entire image first. For example, I started with a layer of yellow on the entire butterfly. Then add more color with a very light hand. Be sure to blend the colors as you go along. You’ll be amazed at the results!
You’ll find an endless combination of colors. Just take some time to experiment!
Use different colors of card stock, various sentiments, and orientations of your card layout (portrait and landscape) to complete your collection.
Please don’t blame me when you become as obsessed with the Lovely Floral Dynamic EF as I am 🙂 !!
Shown below are the main products that I used to make the cards above. If you click on any picture, you’ll go my on-line store.
If you don’t have a demonstrator, I would love to be your demonstrator. I’ll also make sure you have a new annual catalog. Just leave me a comment!
Happy stamping!
