Often, I feel that I start my blog posts with a confession.  I am going to do that again!  Typically, I use a Stamparatus when I make card.  Lately, I have been trying to get back to stamping with blocks and just allowing the creative process to flow.  The card that I’m sharing in this post is a perfect example of how using blocks can help you create a beautiful, layered look with your stamps.  Take a look at the card below –

This card just makes me smile!  The colors work incredibly well together, and the basic design can be used for so many stamp sets and occasions.

There are just a few pieces of card stock that you need for this card –

• Card base – Basic white card stock cut to 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 on the 8 1/2 side.  This is a traditional A2 card base.
• Frame – Basic black card stock cut to 4 1/2 x 3
• Card front – Basic white card stock cut to 4 1/4 x 2 3/4
