Kiss Layered Color onto Your Stamped Images!

Many times when I’m driving around our local area, I am so inspired by the colors that I see.  And, this time of year is just perfect to look for gorgeous color combination.  A few days ago, I went out to get our mail, and spent a few minutes looking at the leaves that have fallen on our driveway.  It was a lot of fun and very inspiring!  Here is the picture of my leaf collection 🙂

Using the leaves as Mother Nature’s inspiration, below is a picture of the two cards that I made.  One is a 4 1/4″ square card.  The other is a traditional A2 card (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″).  They are designed to be Clean and Simple (CAS) cards.  And, they feature an absolutely amazing Gorgeous Leaves Bundle that is in the current Mini Catalog.

If you *think* you have enough stamp sets that feature leaves (I did as well!), you may want to reconsider your opinion.  The Gorgeous Leaves stamp set is really, really beautiful.  It was perfect to make these cards and use the kissing technique to add layers of color.  The coordinating dies, Intricate Leaves Dies, are also amazing.

Take a look at the video that is linked below to see how these cards were made.  In addition to the kissing technique, I’ll also show how to put an elegant and quick scored pattern to your cards.  The only things you need are a scoring board and scoring tool.

Here are some pictures of the fun scoring technique to add an elegant touch to your card.

If you would like to add the Gorgeous Leaves Bundle or other items that I used, take a look at the products shown below.  Click on any picture and you’ll go directly to my online store.

I would love to see what you make using the kissing technique!

Happy stamping!
