Soft Seedlings – Baby Wipe Technique

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year.  I love everything about it – the beautiful colors, cooler weather, being able to wear sweatshirts, and watching football games (with basketball season just around the corner).  When I saw the amazing Soft Seedlings stamp set in the Holiday Catalog, I knew I needed to make a project with the set and the baby wipe technique.  Then, I saw a fantastic fun fold design and needed to add the baby wipe technique to the final project!  Take a look at the picture below to see the final card

This card simply makes me smile!  It is even prettier in person than it is in pictures 🙂

I’ve decided to split the instructions for making this card into two videos.

  • The first is the one that I’m sharing below, and it focuses on creating the focal point piece for the card.
  • The second video will be posted and will focus on the steps to put the fun fold card together.

Please take a few minutes to take a look at the video that is linked below.

If you would like to get the stamped pieces together for the second video that will give instructions to put the fun fold together, you’ll need the following pieces of card stock –

  • Basic white (or your choice of a neutral background) – 2 pieces each cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Basic white (or your choice of the same neutral background) – 2 pieces each cut to 1 5/8″ x 5″

Below are the main products that I used to create the Soft Seedlings pieces with the baby wipe technique.  If you click on any picture, you’ll go directly to my online store.

Within in the next few days, I’ll post the second video that will focus on putting together the fun fold card.

Until then…

Inky hugs,
Laurie
