NC Demos Blog Hop – Punches + DSP = Fun and Quick Card!

Welcome to the April NC Demos Blog Hop!  If you just hopped over from Sharon’s post, you know that we are focused on Stampin’ Up!’s amazing punches this month!  How fun is that!?!?  Didn’t you just love Sharon’s project?  She is such a talented artist and always has an inspiring project to share.

Thank you so much for stopping by to see my card!  I have used a few products from the upcoming new Annual Catalog that will be “live” on May 4th.  You are going to absolutely love the new Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (DSP), the new Flowers and Leaves Punch, and the new Flowers of Friendship Stamp Set.  If you take elements from each, combine them with some complementary colors, you can make a very quick and fun standing DSP card.  The images made from the punches add just the right touch.  Check out the picture below.  It was taken in our front garden.  I thought the colors of the flowers work really well with the colors in the card!!

To see how the card is made, take a few minutes to watch the video that is linked below.  You’ll find that the instructions are very straight forward and that the project truly only takes a few minutes.  Please don’t blame me if your mind starts spinning with all the possibilities of the cards that you’ll make with this design!

Now, be sure to hop on over to Tracie’s post.  I know she has an amazing project to share with all of us!  And, I cannot wait to see it.  Be sure to check out the posts from each of the NC Demos Blog Hoppers this month.  The links are provided below.

Some of the products that I used to make my card are shown below.  The products from the new Annual Catalog are not pictured since they are not available yet.  If you click on any picture below, you’ll go directly to my online store.

Happy stamping!
Laurie

I too am in love with the Hand-Penned DSP. I can not stop using it. I am working on the QM with Sandy and I am sure it will show up there!. I have done a lot of sneak peeks with it coming the last weekend of the month.
