Hand-Penned Memories and More Card – Part 2

I am having so much fun creating cards with the beautiful Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack!  If you haven’t had a chance, please check out the first design that I shared using this card pack by clicking here.  Now, I would like to show you the second of three designs that feature the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack.  Take a look at the picture below –

This card is made with one of the Basic White note cards.  It’s the perfect card base for the smaller size cards that are included in the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack I thought the “Live Life in Full Bloom” printed sentiment would be perfect for an anniversary card.

To give a little more interest to the printed card, I decided to emboss it using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing FolderYou can see the texture in the picture above.

To complement the colors from the printed card, I cut a piece of Balmy Blue card stock to 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 to act as a frame for the focal piece.  I decided to give the frame a little texture as well and embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.

One more frame piece was added by cutting a piece of Basic Black card stock to 3 3/8 x 4 3/8.  This was the perfect finish for the focal point.

I adhered the Balmy Blue piece to the Basic Black piece.  The combined piece was then adhered directly to the left side of the note card.  Then, I used a piece of (sorry it’s retired) silver ribbon to add a little interest to the bottom of the printed card.  A simple bow was added to the left side of the ribbon.  The printed card was added to the Balmy Blue piece using dimensionals.

The stamped “Happy Anniversary” sentiment is from the Elegantly Said stamp set[I absolutely love the font in the sentiment stamps in that set!]  It was stamped on a piece of Balmy Blue card stock with Memento Black Ink.  I punched the sentiment out with the smaller of the two ovals using the Double Oval punch.  Then, I used the flag die from the Tasteful Labels Dies to die cut a piece of Basic Black card stock to put behind my stamped sentiment.  The stamped sentiment was then added to the card with Tombo glue on the left side and dimensionals on the right side.  Using both types of glues ensured the sentiment would lay flat on the top of the card.

The finishing touches to add a little bling included a few Matte Black Dots and Rhinestone Basic Jewels The card needed just a bit of elegance to finish the design!

Another easy-peasy card featuring the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack!  Please check back for the third design that I’ll share.  So far, I have shared two card sizes.  The first used the Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards and Envelopes.  This card has featured a note card.  The next card with be a regular A2 card!

Below are the main products that I used to use the note card sized Happy Anniversary card.  If you click on any picture, you’ll go directly to my online store.

Until next time – Happy Stamping!
