Every month, a wonderful, talented group of stampers gather at our house and enjoy an afternoon of crafting, catching-up, and eating delicious treats. The card pictured below is one of the projects that we made last weekend. The card features the So In Love bundle. It is a namazing stamp and die bundle that will help you live up to the motto of One stamp set – Three designs – Endless possibilities.
In addition to the stamp set and dies, there are other products from the So In Love suite that help add a really special touch to this card.
- The Falling in Love Designer Series Paper (DSP) is truly gorgeous! I used a piece of the paper for the die cut behind the “a day to celebrate” banner. To make sure the detail of the die cut were easily seen, I put a piece of Sahara Sand card stock behind the die cut to enhance the cut out images.
- The Falling in Love Embellishment is a great finishing touch to the sentiment banner. The flower and jewel accents are pretty enough to stand on their own. To add a little more interest, I punched a scalloped circle from Sahara Sand card stock, folded the circle in half, and glued one half to the front and to the back on the right side of the banner.
- The Falling Petals Textured Impressions Embossing Folder is one of my favorites in this product suite. It was used to add the fabulous embossing to the card front. I also used a Wink of Stella pen (in this example, silver was used) to focus attention on a few of the falling petals.
- Blushing Bride card stock is the foundation for the card. It’s the perfect backdrop color to the card design.
I have one more card design to share with you using the Falling in Love Suite. That design will be my next post. Until then, I hope you enjoy CASEing the card above. If you haven’t seen my first design using the So In Love bundle, be sure to click here.
