Before I get into the one sheet wonder project, I want to be sure to give credit where credit is due for this technique. I belong to an amazing Facebook group made up of North Carolina demonstrators. Each quarter, we have a Stamp-Along event that is a day of sharing and seeing live demonstrations on Facebook. During the last Stamp-Along, Carolyn Bosley shared the technique that I’m highlighting in this post. Thank you so much, Carolyn, for demonstrating this really fun way to make one sheet wonder cards!
Usually, when I hear “one sheet wonder”, I think of a project that involves a 12″ x 12″ piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP). The DSP is cut into various shapes that are then used to make beautiful cards. Well, this type of “one sheet wonder” involves creating the stamped paper that will be used to make the cards, and the paper is a standard sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock! Intrigued?!?! Well, take a look at the pictures below. Then, be sure to click on the link to the video that is shown below to get step-by-step instructions and some fun tips and tricks.
I used the new, beautiful Flowing Flowers stamp set from the mini catalog to create the cards. If you truly believe that you don’t need another stamp set that features flowers, you will likely consider adding this set to you stash after you see it used. Yup – it’s really that nice!
Below is a picture of four cards that I created with one sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ Basic White card stock, the Flowing Flowers stamp set, a few ink pads, some acrylic blocks, and more card stock for the frame and card base. Yes, there are a few pieces of bling added as well! Still intrigued?
The next picture shows the final four cards (shown above) put in order to show how the main piece of card stock was stamped. You’ll have to check out the video below to get more details on the process!

This technique is really addictive! I decided to make two more sets of cards before I put the stamps away. One is made with Highland Heather frames. The other is made with Polished Pink frames.
I would really love to see what you make using this technique. If you’d like to see the products that I used to make these cards, check them out at the end of this post. You can click on any picture and go directly to my online store.
Inky hugs,
Laurie
