Love You Still – Wedding Card

My apologies for being sparse in postings over the last few days…but, I have a good excuse!  Well, I think it’s a good excuse 🙂  I have been accepted as a member of a local co-op and will be selling my cards at the shop!  If you live near the Carrboro, North Carolina area, please stop into WomanCraft Gifts.  There are so many talented artists in the area who sell the handmade crafts at the store.  You will find the items very inspiring.  I hope to see you there!

The card that I am sharing today is the first that I have made with my new Stamparatus, which is absolutely marvelous!!!  In my next post, I’ll share a few tips and tricks that I have already learned about the tool.

First, allow me to share some of the stamps from the Love You Still stamp set.  The card featured in this post is very appropriate for a wedding or an anniversary.  The design is fresh, clean, and very versatile since you can literally add any colors that you want.

The Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder as a background adds a really fun 3D effect.  From the picture below, you can see that I added more definition to specific leaves.  This was done using the Whisper White and Old Olive watercolor pencils.

Lately, I have enjoyed adding faux stitching to card fronts.  The Crumb Cake faux stitches and twine really add a nice final touch.

Below are the main products that I used to create this card.  If you click on any picture, you’ll go to my on-line store.

Happy stamping!
