Faux Dry Embossing!

Spring has definitely arrived in North Carolina!  I am sure of that since there is a layer of yellow pollen on just about everything that is outside 🙂  And, I’ll suffer through some itchy eyes and sinus congestion knowing that we’ll have beautiful flowers and vegetables growing soon.  It’s just a magical time of year to appreciate nature.

For a recent Stamp Club, I decided to focus on a great technique called faux dry embossing and chose the gorgeous Quiet Meadow stamp set and Meadow Dies collection to make my slimline card.  Take a peek at it below and notice the lovely layers and colors on the card.

To see how to make this card and get inspired to look at your stamps and dies differently, please take some time to watch the video that is linked below.  I’ll share some tips and tricks along the way.  You’re going to love this technique!

I hope you enjoy this technique and will give it a try!  It is a beautiful way to showcase die cuts in a different way.

You may “need” some of the products highlighted in this card added to your stash – I’m just looking out for you 🙂  If you do, please take a look at the products shown below.  Click on any picture, and you’ll go directly to my online store.

Inky hugs,
Laurie
