A Special Card from a Special Friend

As stampers, we all know the amount of time, thought, and effort it can take to make a card for a specific person and a specific event.  The process of putting the card together by choosing the right color papers, inks, and accents can be stressful.  And, we hope that the receiver of the card appreciates the special touches that we have added just for that person.

Now, as a stamper, imagine receiving the perfect card made just for you.  Well, that happened to me last week.  A very special friend of mine, Belinda, made a truly gorgeous and thoughtful retirement card for me.  I recently “retired” from working.  In truth, I stopped working before I really qualified to retire and am enjoying more time with my husband, who recently truly retired.  But, I digress.  The focus of this post is the amazing card that Belinda made.  Take a look!

I told you it was amazing!  The details are gorgeous, and the style of the card is a work of art in itself.  Belinda – Again, thank you so much for the beautiful card!  It is proudly displayed in my craft room.  Here are a few more pictures to give you additional views of the card.  Click on any picture, and you’ll see a larger image of the picture to get a better view.

When you leave a comment, let Belinda know how much you love her card!

As promised, tomorrow I will post the second design using the Quilted Christmas suite of products.  Here is a preview of the card.

Be sure to check back tomorrow to get directions and full pictures of the card.

Happy stamping,
Laurie
